We're still two months out, but we have some more confirmations to make to you!
Making their return to the Gimnasio, we have the lovable not-really-a-hero Jose Sanchez, and the thirty year veteran RUIN! While Jose was just happy to have gotten hand-picked for this role, RUIN was notoriously difficult to negotiate with, demanding two-way travel comp'd by the company and a downside guarantee worth fifty percent of his appearance rate. The Whirlwind Consortium was not pleased with such a demand, however as a history buff he understood the significance these two had to Whirlwind's past, and so he made the executive decision to green light this deal. Stay tuned to see just where this leads the fifty-four year old RUIN at this stage of his career.
Perhaps not surprisingly, Whirlwind can confirm the continuation of the masked strategist Pendragon's prior deal, citing "it's imperative we ensure that we get Pendragon locked down as a focal point of the show". Pendragon, who was last seen fighting a genuine war with the B-List SyFy celebrity Jacob Hotstuff at Pendragon's own estate, has been quiet since that night where he set Jacob ablaze with a flamethrower Jacob had brought to the party. it goes without saying that we as a company are more than excited to catch up with the masked man and find out just what he's been up to in the last year.
Lastly, feelers were sent out to perhaps the loudest ex-member, the Hollywood celebrity Jacob Hotstuff himself. Despite his win-less record, the impact Jacob left on not just the brand but the industry as a whole was massive with folks from across the globe all coming just for the opportunity to punch Jacob in the face (including of course, MAX Danger and wife Francine - the two of which having some sort of tangled past with Jacob). At this time of writing, our offer was sent to Jacob's personal counsel Jeff Jones, however no response has been sent back one way or the other. We'll keep you posted as more news comes in.
