UE need the win after losing last year. I really like how War Games is basically being used as their match. I still think UE painted in a more tweener light vs. Imperium would have been more logical. I particularly hate face-leaning Ciampa. The fourth is surely going to be Dream.

Whew, what a slogfest to get through, and I didn't even watch the 2hr preshow. I feel exhausted, but there was some cool moments I enjoyed. Fiend matches are gonna be a certified DUD until they kill that asinine lighting. Can't see anything.

I had this show on as background noise. The only enjoyable matches I actually watched were the three primary title matches - Brock/Rey was actually really fucking good (but Brock shines against dudes half his size). Not even AJ/Naka/Roddy was particularly great. Main event was awful, as was the woman's survivor series match. I'm actually surprised they went in the direction with NXT winning big, but it really puts more casual eyes on the brand and elevates it above "developmental" which was the goal of the whole show.

The men's triple threat wasn't as great as I had believed it would be, and the women's was very telegraphed. Poor Bayley. I wanted to like the elimination matches, but every time they started the rapid fire eliminations that told me "oh, they forgot the time has been too long, quick let's get a bunch of people out". So that killed the heat there. I popped pretty hard for the Dominick spots (double 619 OMG). Cole/Dunne made me lethargic, which I think was the point since it was obviously there to calm the crowd between big matches, so props to the total pros working that.

That red light needs to just go away. I'm so done with it. Otherwise, this had a bunch of big, and repetitive match outlines on the card but this really didn't feel like a big four event, if I'm being honest.
