And if you haven't watched yet, why? In a pandemic when you have the time, why wouldn't you? This is a new era, new regime, this is a company that knows how to maximize it's minutes because not a single bit was wasted. Top to bottom everything was important, surprises were on fleek, debuts and returns were master class. And best part, there's no swamp fight on this card.

TBH, I haven't been watching any wrestling. Part of it is I don't have time. Part of it is I'm just not into what WWE and AEW are doing right now. NWA has been MIA and really that was the only thing I was watching before this pandemic hit. No one cares about ROH and no one talks about Impact so.
But before Slammiversary I did see some clickbait shit where a bunch of "free agents" were going to show up on the show. So far (Outside of Deanna as I follow her on IG) I have been able to miss the results and spoilers. I have the show, I want to watch it. I just need the time for it. I'm only getting 1 day off this week, and I'm trying to get my jeep back on the road as we're down to one car for the last 3 weeks so, maybe next weekend. Who knows.

Yeah, the promo was clickbaity. Not entirely unfounded, but I'll leave the suspense in it so I don't ruin it for you.
I'll say, since it wasn't an advertised surprise, that the MCMG are back. I never saw that coming.
It was a very strong show. Can't imagine the audacity in putting a swamp fight as your main event the same weekend that iMPACT put the world on notice. It's a big time, and I hope you manage to find a chance to slow down a minute and watch it.
And I'm missing NWA too! You'd think that's the total opposite of my preferences, but I was quite enjoying it all. The Aldis/Storm stuff, Aldis/Scurll, Kamille speaking, Thunder Rosa, Ricky Starks (whom is now in AEW). Zicky Dice, whom left the company as tv champion cause you can't pay the bills with no shows.

Got my stupid Jeep running again, yesterday was my only day off this week, it was hot as balls outside, so I finally watched it.
I did skip the first match. I've seen enough of MCMG in my lifetime that I'm good.
The rest of the show, was good. The no crowd thing was brutal on a couple of the matches. Stuff just came off flat. Josh and Mark tried their best to sell it, but man, with no crowd any wrestling is tough to watch. I wouldn't say it's the best show from IMPACT (/tna) I've ever seen, but it is far from the worst thing thing we've seen from them. Only knock I would have on the show outside of no fans in attendance, is when someone is cutting a promo in the ring, get their fucking mic to work so we can hear what they are saying, and Eddie Edwards can't cut a promo to say his life. It felt scripted.
This shut down is the worst thing that couple have happened to NWA. You would think by now, they would just start doing taping. I don't know how that show works without no one there because everyone is feeding off of the fans allot. But they have to try something.

Congrats on getting your jeep going!
I'm pretty over the no fans thing. Like, I'm used to it, it's not going away, and it's completely out of their hands. It's just out of our hands, so it's easy, for me, to look past it. It's our reality.
