Good evening, Nikki Mynx here with an eleventh hour signing announcement! Whirlwind LLC has become a small, close-knit home for each and every one of us behind the scenes, and we love each other like a family here - especially Derrick Thatcher for his ability to call the show on his own, which speaks volumes to how immensely talented the man is. He's like a big brother to me, for sure. But that doesn't mean we're not receptive to potential new members of this family, because that's what a business does. We grow, and we add talented, qualified individuals to our team to help with that expansion and allow us to grow exponentially more. And that's what we've done here.
I enjoy my new role as backstage correspondent and vice president of digital media for Whirlwind Wrestling LLC, as well as my love for scoring the PRIDE Rules Matches alongside Derrick and Cruz Bleckley, and as such The Consortium saw to it to look up a former, dare I say legendary colour commentator to join Derrick at the booth - big shoes to fill, to be sure. This man got his start in two thousand eight as a colour commentator, and continued in that same role ever since by providing banter, slanted analytics, and just general professional debauchery at the table, with a keen ability to provide the other half of the story. Okay, it's like, we all know how precisely analytical Derrick is with every match he calls. He's like the Yin. This legend that The Consortium looked up, well he would be the Yang. As tough as it is to find someone whom could call matches at Derrick's level, this man we're excited to sign has proven time and time again over the past twelve years, that he can do precisely that.
Ladies and gentlemen, starting in the Extreme Championship Federation, the Awesome Championship Entertainment brand, Whirlwind Wrestling LLC is humbly pleased, and proud, to announce the return of legend Johnny Deep to the role of colour commentary, for our first show of the new decade!
I can't wait to hear how this man interacts with Derrick at not just Chain Lightning, but all the future shows put together inside of the Whirlwind! Until next we meet,
