I'm gonna need to give this episode a watch.

I'll have to echo John on this, very classic old school vibe. Corgan said he wanted to innovate in a niche market and it appears he is well on his way

I've only seen some of the latest episode so far. That Sandow promo was embarrassing. I can't believe people actually thought he should have been a top guy.

I just watched the first one with the Aldis/Storm match, which was a great build and terrific story. I popped at the low blow and a couple other parts.
Company kinda looks sorta like an ex-TNA retirement home though lol, in a good way though, always like seeing James Storm and Eli Drake, that's E-Li-Drake dummy, yeah and that's not an insult, that is just a fact of life!

Tim Storm was KINO and legitimized the Ten Pounds for me. I like Aldis (anyone who knocks up Mickie James is okay in my book) and it sucks that his reign was marred by dropping it to Cody to a week, but trying to get some spotlight on the NWA via All In was a smart move by BTB. It has this very early TNA feel to me (a lot of over the hill guys) but I like the production value. It's just real old school, real comfy. It's humble and know its place.

Yeah, I like that about it too. I know that's contrary to how I seem to book, but there was something about it that made it feel...homely. It doesn't need to make itself over the top because basic is very sufficient.
Was very nice to see Bram doing well too.

Had my old man watch Powerrr. He dug it, was never a big wrestling person but like most dudes in their 50s he watched a fair shre of 80s wrestling. He liked how simple it was; nice quick matches of just big dudes walloping each other.

Yeah, I'm really digging Powerrr. It's campy, but in a good way. Proof that you don't need to go all out with the LEDs and elaborate stage designs to still produce a good show. I got a couple episodes I still need to catch up on, this being a Whirlwind show week will make that a little hard to do haha.

I like how they refer to it as the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship. It's a nice touch - how long have they been doing? I don't recall ever hearing Storm call it that during his 10 Pounds videos. Is it something Aldis started?

I don't think it's an Aldis thing as much as an old school thing. Lots of guys before that have called their title the worlds title. IIRC, Roode even did that during his legendary TNA title run. Think JBL may have during his famous run too.

So Cawdy is blaming the pyro guy for the dog incident awhile back with the dog and apparently the poor guy got fired. I hate this fucking guy so much."The pyro wasn't supposed to go off." Absolute bullshit.

I just saw Clickbait and man Aldis is so good on the mic. Ricky Stark is going to breakout though, before the end of 2020. This kid gets it.

Into the Fire was an incredible show. Just a classic wrasslin show, I never knew how much I could enjoy a no frills straight forward show given my penchant for the swerve, but that was a fine three hours. The big debut at the end...wow, that guy is a total STAR. Or at least NWA knows how to present him as such. Main event was a true rocketbustah with a great story and still proved you don't need thirty dives and a bucket of blood to make a match "good".

At wwe house shows, you see silly stuff With the refs all the time, it just never airs. I mean, never heard of them stunning some one, but still.

I'll catch it in the morning after work.

I couldn't even watch all of ups and downs that just recaps the show! I started to tune it out half way through. If I'm sitting there and go "I'm glad I didn't watch." while watching someone do a recap of the show, you might have a problem.
Powerrr is really the only show I catch every week. The 1 hour format works for me.
